Yale University was founded on this day in 1701. It is celebrating more than three centuries of learning with this glimpse of Sterling Memorial Library, the campus' largest library. Currently, the nave in the “Cathedral of Knowledge” is undergoing renovations, which will be complete by September 2014, just in time for a new class.
